Automatic Responder

Filed under: Automatic Responder @ 4:22 am

Automatic responder (commonly known as autoresponder) is the software component that automates the response to a request for information.

What it does is it allows you to create a sequence of messages with a delivery schedule.  It then help you send out these messages according to your delivery schedule (eg. in 2 days, 3 days, 5 days, etc) to your lists of prospects, customers, affiliates or any other categories of contacts that are managed by the autoresponder.

If you’ve heard the saying, “The money is in the LIST”, you’d realize that the autoresponder is the MOST IMPORTANT component of your toolkit in your online business.

AutoPilotRiches

After testing out several autoresponder options, I settled with AutoPilotRiches (which is a private label of 1ShoppingCart) due to its reliability and ease of use.  Incidentally, most gurus I met are using this or another private label of 1ShoppingCart so I know I won’t go very much wrong in using this product.

However, the disadvantage is its somewhat higher pricing than other autoresponders out there.

Besides providing a basic “Autoresponder” package, AutoPilotRiches also have different packages comprising affiliate management and shopping cart modules.

For new Internet Marketers, I recommend you to start with the “Autoresponder” package which comes with unlimited autoresponders as well as an Ad Tracking module that helps you track your promotions.

Aweber Communications

I’ve used this for awhile and very happy with its robust service too.  In fact, it boasts a slightly higher message deliverability than AutoPilotRiches.

However, personally, I prefer AutoPilotRiches due to its integrated features.

This choice is really yours.  If all you use is just an autoresponder and ad tracking service and nothing else, you can consider this as it’s not as pricey.  One thing I find though that its interface is less intuitive and therefore your learning curve is slightly steeper.
