New Blogger Blog in Beta
Thursday, September 21st, 2006Recently, Blogger.com has released a new blogger blog in beta version.
(Beta refers to software version that are still in testing phase where features are added and tests carried out to find out bugs.)
Yesterday, I just switched my personal blog at http://rogerloh.blogspot.com from the current blogger version to this new edition.
This version was much smoother and the photo uploads were a breeze!
Plus, it also allows categories which was missing from the current version. I love categories as you can see on the side bar in this WordPress blog. That’s because each time I post an article to this blog, I can assign one or more categories to it so that the posts automatically get organized. Thus, a blogging platform is essentially a simplified form of content management software some of which can cost tens of thousands of dollars!
No wonder blogs are getting so popular…it’s literally ‘living’ information. The more you post, the more useful a blog becomes. And the fresh content not only will attract readers but also attracts the search engines which feed on new contents.
